Ballet Recital

Thanks to a couple of seminary students' wives, Maddie is taking ballet on campus at the Log Cabin. Maddie couldn't wait each week to go. December 7 was their recital.

They did such a great job. It was so cute and so fun to watch our little girl dance Ballet!

Maddie gets to take ballet with two of the girls who live in our building, Ella and Anna.

When ballet starts back up at the end of January, Katie will get to be in a class with Anna's little sister, Beth. Katie was very excited to hear that she gets to learn ballet too!!

An Early Christmas Present

So my first trip out for Christmas shopping was to Kohl's. Maddie saw the shirts in the men's section and told me she wanted to get Daddy a shirt. Knowing we needed to get him some Christmas presents I thought that was a pretty good idea. We walked along all of the shirts as I pointed out the different ones to her but none of them worked. Finally I asked her what kind of shirt she had in mind for him, her answer was "a red one." As she said that, we turned around and right there in front of us were red t-shirts. To my surprise this was the shirt:

"You'll shoot your eye out!"

I laughed out loud - thought it was PERFECT!
